Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has invited industrialists and entrepreneurs from Gujarat to expand their business operations in Haryana, stating that Gujarat’s entrepreneurial strength and Haryana’s robust industrial base can together create fresh opportunities for investment and economic growth in both states. He said the Haryana Government aims not merely to attract investment but to become a trusted partner in the next phase of business expansion and growth.
The Chief Minister was addressing business leaders at an investor roadshow held in Gandhinagar on Wednesday, the second day of his Gujarat visit.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said Haryana offers immense potential for setting up new manufacturing units, offices, warehouses and technology centres. He urged entrepreneurs from Gujarat to consider Haryana in their business expansion plans, explore the state’s industrial estates and identify investment opportunities suited to their requirements.
The Chief Minister said Gujarat, the birthplace and ‘karmabhoomi’ of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, has earned a distinct reputation in India and across the world for its achievements in trade, industry and entrepreneurship. Surat’s diamond and textile industries, Ahmedabad’s industrial growth and Gujarat’s strong presence in chemicals, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing are notable examples of this success. Haryana, too, has been a ‘karmabhoomi’ of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, he said, adding that the experience of Gujarat’s entrepreneurs, combined with Haryana’s industrial and logistics network, could open new avenues for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Strategic Location and Connectivity Among Haryana’s Major Strengths
Highlighting Haryana’s advantages, the Chief Minister said the state’s strategic geographical location is one of its greatest strengths. Nearly 57 percent of Haryana falls within the National Capital Region (NCR). The Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and major industrial corridors connect the state with important commercial and consumer markets. Access to airports in Delhi, Chandigarh and Noida also facilitates the movement of investors, employees and business partners.
He said access to markets, transportation, efficient supply chains and timely delivery of products are critical requirements for any industry. Haryana’s connectivity and proximity to the national capital play a significant role in meeting these needs. These advantages are making the state an attractive destination not only for manufacturing but also for logistics, warehousing, technology services and corporate operations.
Industrial Network to Boost MSMEs and Local Supply Chains
The Chief Minister said Haryana has a well-established industrial base across sectors including automobiles, engineering, electronics, textiles, food processing and pharmaceuticals. The state has 56 industrial estates, while initiatives are underway to develop MSME clusters in 143 blocks.
Inviting Gujarat’s entrepreneurs to become part of this industrial ecosystem, he said investments by large companies generate not only direct employment but also opportunities for local suppliers, small industries and businesses engaged in transportation, packaging, maintenance and technical services.
The Haryana Government, he said, is committed to ensuring that the benefits of investment reach the state’s youth, workers and small entrepreneurs, while enabling local industries to integrate with larger industrial supply chains.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said Haryana has also established a strong presence in information technology, digital services and corporate operations alongside its manufacturing sector. Gurugram is home to offices of more than 250 Fortune 500 companies, around 270 Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and 19 unicorn companies. This reflects the state’s growing potential for investment in technology-driven businesses, digital services and global corporate operations.
He said automobile and machinery manufacturers can benefit from Haryana’s established industrial network, while companies in textiles, electronics, pharmaceuticals and solar energy can explore opportunities to establish new units. Significant investment potential also exists in logistics, warehousing and industrial infrastructure.
The Chief Minister pointed out that Haryana contributes approximately 3.8 percent to the national economy despite accounting for only about 1.34 percent of India’s total geographical area. This, he said, reflects the state’s economic strength and effective utilisation of available resources.
Focus on Timely Incentives and Simplified Procedures for Investors
The Chief Minister said the Haryana Government is committed to simplifying procedures, expanding digital services and ensuring timely access to clear information for investors.
During the financial years 2023-24 and 2024-25, Haryana utilised 96 percent of its allocated incentive budget, compared with an average utilisation of 83 percent over the past six years.
He said the government’s endeavour is to provide investors with speed, support and confidence while planning and implementing their projects. Transparency and adherence to timelines in investment-related procedures play a crucial role in accelerating industrial development.
Shared Cultural Heritage to Strengthen Business Cooperation
Referring to the longstanding cultural ties between Haryana and Gujarat, the Chief Minister said the relationship between the two states extends beyond trade and industry.
He said Kurukshetra in Haryana is the sacred land where Lord Shri Krishna delivered the message of ‘Karma Yoga’ to Arjuna, while Dwarka in Gujarat is a major centre of faith for crores of devotees.
The cultural affinity and entrepreneurial traditions of both states, he said, can provide fresh direction to economic cooperation. Gujarat’s rich trading heritage and Haryana’s industrial capabilities can together create a strong foundation for expanding industries, employment and business activities in both states.
Inviting entrepreneurs from Gujarat to visit Haryana and discuss their next phase of business expansion, the Chief Minister said the state government wants industrialists from both states to collaborate in establishing new industries, strengthening local supply chains and contributing to the vision of Viksit Bharat.

Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh said the new industrial policy formulated by the state government under the guidance of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini is among the best in the country. The policy provides extensive incentives and subsidies to encourage industrial investment.
He expressed confidence that Haryana’s industry-friendly policies would not only attract investors but also generate new opportunities for industrial growth and employment in the state.
The Industries Minister said the government has made concerted efforts to frame a policy that addresses the requirements of industries while offering improved facilities and incentives to investors. A key feature of the policy is that suggestions from industrialists were incorporated during its formulation to understand their actual needs and practical challenges and address them effectively.
Assuring investors of the government’s full support, Rao Narbir Singh said that, as Industries and Commerce Minister, he would make every possible effort to ensure that the government lives up to the expectations and trust with which investors come to Haryana.
